EnergiaPura Maglia Cut Resistant Shirt FIS Approved

Cut-resistant thermal clothing: a shirt, trousers and neck protector made from an innovative fabric, the result of research by Energiapura.

Cut-resistant clothing protects athletes from cuts from ski edges or other sharp objects in the event of a fall or impact. The development of these garments was requested by the FIS (International Ski Federation) due to the increasing number of serious accidents involving cuts during races and training. The innovation is linked to a combination of the technical properties of the fabric and the freedom of movement of the garments, which do not hinder elite athletic performance.

The garments are certified EN 388: 2004 Cut Resistant LEVEL 3 and recognized by the FIS through an official LABEL that corresponds to the tests of the International Federation

It's important to pay attention to wearing the cut-resistant shirt correctly to ensure it provides the expected protection. The shirt collar should fit snugly around the neck and cover the waist without exposing the back during movement. The sleeves should fit snugly around the wrists and remain covered, under the race suit and gloves. The black vertical band at the back is made of elastic, non-cut-resistant material and, to give the garment more elasticity, should be covered by a back protector.
